THE CANDY COW FAMILY...
The Candys go back to JJ Jenetics Candy 1C a daughter of Moombi Powerplay J89 and out of the Fehlauer bred cow Keriglen Kaylori Fey 8X. Fred and Elsie Fehlauer had huge success with their Feys that went to their foundation cow Maple Inn Fairy 28. Fey 8X also had some Irish breeding from her sire Keriglen Dynastar a son of SSH Unlimited and out of a cow by the Australian bred Newbiggon Supreme.
Our Candy’s all came from Circle M Shorthorns, Bob and Cindy Merley, Aldergrove, B.C. and were sired by Diamond Captain Mark 27C and out of JJ Jenetics Candy 1C. They were Circle M Candy’s Floss 5F and Circle M Candy’s Kit Kat 9K. We also used their full brother Circle M Ghost Rider 10G. There are descendants of all three of these full siblings in the herd today.
Diamond Gummybear Candy 39G
S: Diamond Delux 15D
D: ACC Candy's Ambrosia 41A
This beautiful Shorthorn brood cow sold in the prime of her productive life for $19,000 to TGN Shorthorns. 39G is easy fleshing, deep bodied, good footed and has a near perfect udder. Apart from her phenotype she is proving to be an outstanding donor like her dam and paternal granddam. We have retained embryos by Diamond Xplosion 23X, Byland Flash and one flush as we strongly feel she is a cow that one could build a herd around. Free of all known defects homozygous polled
ACC CANDY'S AMBROSIA 41A
S: PAINTEARTH RAMA 53U
D: ACC CANDY'S WINEGUM 14W
Ambrosia was our pick of the direct daughters of the ACC Candy's Winegum 14W female. Winegum is out of the Diamond Captain Mark 27C sired Circle M Candy's Kit Kat 9K. We successfully flushed Ambrosia and she has offspring at A&C Farms Langham. E226X carrier
